There’s a new plan for the demolished wing of the Pickering Town Centre, and the planning and development committee has approved it. At the Monday, Jan. 6 meeting, the committee approved OPB Realty Inc.’s draft plan of a subdivision on the easterly portion of the Pickering Town Centre property, consisting of nine development blocks, one parkland block and new internal and private roads. There will be 5,099 residential units, and buildings ranging between nine and 55 storeys. There will also be 3,418 square metres of commercial or retail space spread among the nine development blocks.
Pickering City Centre Condos is a new condo development by CentreCourt Developments currently in planning at 1355 A Kingston Road, Pickering, ON. The development is launching in 2023. Pickering City Centre Condos has a total of 55 Storeys.
The Pickering City Centre Condos will feature three residential towers, along with a planned hotel, arts centre, outdoor ice rink, combined senior and youth centre, and an expanded central library. This development complex is strategically located in Pickering's city centre, which holds provincial recognition as an Urban Growth Centre and Mobility Hub.
CentreCourt Developments announced plans today for a new mixed-use community centred around Pickering Town Centre Mall, which will include at least 10 new condo towers and more than 6,000 residences along with shops, amenities and a virtual health clinic. The community will be known as Pickering City Centre and will feature over 50 acres of newly designed space, CentreCourt says.
